When communication is a leadership problem
Some of the hardest communication problems are not about writing. They are about deciding what the message is, who needs to hear it and in what order. Leaders face those decisions during launches, changes, announcements and difficult periods, usually without much time.
I give counsel at executive level, so those decisions are made calmly and the message that goes out is clear.
What I advise on
- Messaging. The core message, the supporting points and the language to use and avoid.
- Narrative framing. How to present a decision, a change or a result so it is understood the way you intend.
- Stakeholder communication. Who needs to hear what, from whom and when.
- Preparation. Talking points and briefings for interviews, announcements and important conversations.
How we work
Some clients bring me in for a specific moment, such as a launch or an announcement. Others want ongoing counsel as questions arise. Either way we start with a short briefing so I understand the situation, the people involved and what success looks like.
This work often connects to executive and personal branding and brand strategy, because a clear message is easier to deliver when the position behind it is settled.
Common questions
Do you work with organisations or individuals?
Both. I advise leadership teams and individual executives.
Can you help at short notice?
Often, yes. Contact me with the situation and the deadline and I will tell you honestly whether I can help in time.
